Centrifugal CVT

This is an automatic transmission mechanism for light vehicles. The idea here is basically to rotate the live axle with a diameter-changing wheel (main wheel) and use the RPM value generated in the activated live axle to turn the centrifugal governor, which in return alters the size of the diameter-changing wheel. During this cycle, lever arms of the centrifugal governor move outwards or inwards against the spring depending on the rotation speed. This action pulls and pushes the central shaft passing through the main wheel changing its diameter accordingly. The system enables changing speed without steps, which makes it an example of a CVT. This design saves the driver from interfering with the transmission mechanism. Consequently, the most efficient speed torque conversion is achieved depending on the power source and vehicle speed.
